Big Thunderstorm over Krems an der Donau in the World Cultural Heritage Wachau. 
It was a blast to watch this incredible phenomenon from the other side of the Danube where the weather was really nice and not cloudy at all.. 

My super lovely Girlfriend Nina, doing her thing in the Wachau Vineyards where we hunt for images most of our time.. :)

Vineyards in the Wachau

The Traisen near Pottenbrunn. This river got problems long time with water pollution.. 
Thanks to the rayon industrie that let their dirty water from production flow into the river, the whole thing was nearly dead.. 
Now, about 15 years after the industrie left the town, water quality is improving. :)

An about hundred year old pipe fired up once again.. 

Red Sunset over the Hills in Stein an der Donau... Here is the lower part of the Wachau.

The Danube.. looking upstream on left side is Mautern, to the right is Krems. During the Roman era, the Wachau was a critical defending point for the romans wich fought against the Teutons on the other side of the Danube where Krems is now located..
